Florin Hodis President
Florin Hodis has 22 years of experience related to the telecommunications industry. He began his career in 1993 with Radiotel in Romania as a Field Engineer designing wireless networks. In 1994 he moved to Hungary and joined AT&T / Lucent Regional Center as Product Support Engineer working with European regional offices and Bell Labs in order to enhance the product offering in the region. In 1996 he moved to Canada and joined Consultronics. As Corporate Manager, New Technology Introduction, R&D group he was involved with new technology research, product development, business development and representation at various international standard organizations. In 2006 Consultronics was acquired by EXFO and Florin was promoted to Senior New Technology Advisor, Product Management group were he continued his involvement with new technology research, product development, business development and representation at various international standard organizations. Florin Hodis founded CANWAY in 2011 and as President is responsible for the overall management and strategy direction of the company.
Florin Hodis has been actively involved with the following international standard organizations: Broadband Forum, International Telecommunication Union (ITU), Home Phone Network Alliance (HomePNA), Multimedia over Coax Alliance (MoCA), University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory (UNH-IOL), European Telecommunication Standard Institute (ETSI), Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) , Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE), International Engineering Task Force (IETF).
